TEAM AT PROJECT THRIVE
Janine Keblish Executive Director
Janine Keblish is a long time advocate for children in need.
A graduate of the Unviersity of Washington and a twenty year veteran in the modeling industry Janine's career has afforded her the ability to spend the last 2 decades traveling the globe. Quickly realizing that she was less interested in international runway and more interested in international cultures, Project Thrive was born.
Janine's travels took her to places as far away Africa and Asia where she was awakened to the plight of less fortunate cultures. Life sustaining simplicities such as clean water and basic shelter that come so readily available to us, were part of the daily struggle for many of the people Janine crossed paths with in these nations.
It was during this time Janine recognized her desire to help others and conceived the idea of Project Thrive, a non-profit organization to help foster care for children in need; giving essentials to not only sustain life but to provide for a comfortable one. Janine has since turned in her runway shoes for well treated mission boots. With dozen of mission visits aound the world under her belt, she now focuses her time and experience toward giving Project Thrive it's wings. Her hope and desire is "to give a face and a voice to those that to often remain anonymous."
Project Thrive is dedicated to Janine's mother Judie and in memory of her father Mike and dear friend Margo Sigler.
